Anti-Rabies vaccination programmes conducted

Imphal, April 26 2025: A Mass Anti-Rabies Vaccination Programme was conducted under the aegis of All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) at the premises of Universal Progressive Club (UPC), Khurai Lamlong today.

The programme was organised by UPC Khurai Lamlong in collaboration with Veterinary Office Imphal East.

AMUCO executive member M Premjit, SUCO general secretary Th Premananda and other members of SUCO were present at the event.

Speaking on the occasion, M Premjit said that the programme was conducted in order to curb the spread of rabies among domesticated animals like cats and dogs.

Highlighting that AMUCO in collaboration with its affiliate clubs have been conducting vaccination programmes across the State, he appealed to the people to take advantage of such programmes and get their cats and dogs vaccinated.

Around 70 cats and dogs received anti-rabies vaccine during the programme.
