Indian army conducts medical camp

Imphal, April 25 2025:
Indian army organised a comprehensive medical camp at Yambem PHC in Imphal East district on Friday.
According to PRO Defence, the initiative was undertaken in collaboration with chief medical officer (CMO), Imphal East to deliver essential healthcare services to residents of Yambem, Yairipok, Changamdabi, Andro, Angtha and Top Chingtha villages.
More than 1000 people, including women, children and senior citizens were benefitted by the medical camp.
The medical team that provided treatment and consultation comprised 10 doctors, including five specialists in ENT, Gynaecology and Dermatology, staff members from Yambem PHC and CMO Office.
The Indian Army in coordination with the civil medical staff provided essential healthcare services including vital sign assessments, basic screenings and distributed essential medicines to the attendees, the PRO added.
