Army felicitates students of Manipur Super 50

Imphal, July 01 2025:
Senior army officials from Red Shield Division along with Bishnupur DC Pooja Elangbam, SP Ksh Ravi Kumar and National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation (NIEDO) director Dr Rohit Shrivastava felicitated 44 students who cleared JEE and NEET 2025 exam after being trained at Red Shied Centre for Excellence and Wellness, commonly known as "Manipur Super 50" in Bishnupur district.
Six out of the students cleared both NEET and JEE exams with Philem Jenin Singh topping the NEET among the state's candidates with 97.06 percentile marks.

The event attended by students and their parents, celebrated the remarkable achievements of the young talents who have overcome significant challenges to excel in these highly competitive exams.
Manipur Super 50, an initiative supported by the Indian Army in collaboration with NIEDO, aims to provide free, high-quality coaching, mentorship and resources to talented students from underprivileged backgrounds in Manipur.
In NEET 2025, a total of 37 students from the Super 50 successfully cleared the exam, marking a significant achievement for the program.
These students are Rahul Charanga, Kiyam Srivatsha Singh, Yarreiso Raleng, Themshok Shimphrui, Zanngasung Sarang, Wahengbam Hiramani Singh, Philem Jenin Singh, Konjengbam Robert Singh, Ningombam Sinpaiba Meitei, Walo Lohe, Md Sahidur Rahman, AS Senthing Zimik, Kaluaidai Thaimei.
Leivon Simon Kom, Yungreithing Kapai, Chingkheihunba Huidrom, Rungshing Ngashangva, Wisidinbou Abonmai, Heikrujam Shakhenba Meitei, Sahir Alam, Muhammad Lukuman Maibam, Wungmareo R Shimray, Naorem Gambhir Singh, Ningombam Maninganba, Girish Langoijam, Shrinivash Sapam, Mochou Maring, Suaihiam Rongmei.
Punshiba Konsam, Worrin-so Mungleng, TD Wameingam, Laimayum Dayananda Sharma, Khullakpam Harish Ahmed, Wahengbam Donel Singh, Lungchum Khorong, T Amitkanta Singh and Laishram David Meitei.
In JEE 2025, a total of 13 students from the Super 50 qualified the exam, showcasing the program's academic excellence and commitment to nurturing future engineers.
These successful students are Wahengbam Hera-mani Singh, Rahul Charanga, Kiyam Srivatsha Singh, Yarreiso Raleng, Themshok Shimphrui, Zanngasung Sarang, Shingarin Mashangva, Chakansing Gonmei, Maibam Santosh Singh, Kumam Marshel Singh, Langoijam Stiva Singh, Mairembam Chingthoisana and Geoffrey Shaiza.
Despite numerous challenges, these students have displayed extraordinary resilience, dedication and focus.
Many have been studying under difficult conditions, often amidst disruptions to normal life.
Their success stands as a testament to their unyielding determination to pursue education, build a brighter future and be a responsible citizen, said a release, adding that Army and civil administration officials congratulated the successful students and interacted warmly with their parents, acknowledging the sacrifices and support provided by families.
Prizes were presented to the achievers as a token of appreciation and encouragement.
Parents expressed deep gratitude to the Indian Army for nurturing and guiding their children.
