Complaint filed against Kuki leaders, MLAs' associates

Imphal, August 26 2023:
Along with in-depth presentation about the ethnic conflict which began on May 3, one Laishangbam Jadumani s/o (L) Ibohal of Kabowakching filed a written complaint at Phougakchao Ikhai Police Station, requesting for legal action against several Kuki leaders including the husbands of two Kuki MLAs.
As per the complaint, Jadumani urged for strict action to be taken up against ail those involved in perpetrating the violent incidents which have occurred since the May 3 conflict began.
The Kuki leaders mentioned in the complaint included Kuki Inpi Manipur president Ch Ajang Khongsai (60) s/o Lhunkhothang Khongsai, secretary Khaikhohauh Gangte; Kangpokpi AC MLA Nemcha Kipgen's husband Thangboi Kipgen (KNF); Saikul AC MLA Kimneo Haokip Hangsing's husband David Hangsing (KRA); retired IRD Wilson Hangsing alias Lalam s/o T Hangsing of Kangpokpi Bazar; KNO president PS Haokip, spokesperson Seilen Haokip s/o (L) Paolen Haokip; ITLF president Pagin Haokip; CoTU spokesperson Araon Kipgen, general secretary Lamminlun Singsit; Myanmar native Thanglenpao Guite (ZRO); Tengnoupal (ST) AC MLA Letpao Haokip's PRO Benjamin alias Benji and others.
