Imphal, April 26 2025: A ten-member cultural troupe of the Rhythms of Manipur will be performing at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center inside Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai in connection with the first ever World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) being hosted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting from May 1 to 4, 2025 .

The summit, being attended by various world leaders, industries heavyweights, creators, tech innovators, will be inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi on May 1 at Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center.

The Rhythms of Manipur troupe sponsored by the NE Zone Cultural Center, Dimapur will showcase the instrumental performance including the popular "Langden" drumming by four women drummers supported by six other musicians for three days from May 1 to 3, 2025 during the summit.

The troupe is leaving Imphal for Mumbai on April 27 .

Rajukumar Sanatomba, founding artistes and secretary of the group will be troupe leader.
