Health talk discusses rabies, cervical cancer

Imphal, March 28 2025: Department of Community Medicine of Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS), Langol in collaboration with ASHA Workers of Awang Potshangbam Khullen conducted a health talk programme on "Rabies and Cervical Cancer' at Awang Potsangbam Khullen community hall, on Friday.

Awang Potsangbam Khullen is an adopted area of SAHS, under Family Adoption Programme, NMC.

The programme was organised as a part of Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship Posting.

Around 50 people from the locality and around 25 students of Awang Potshangbam High School attended the programme, wherein the interns were guided by the faculties of SAHS Department of Community Medicine, who also delivered an elaborate presentation on the topic using charts, followed by discussion and clarifying doubts raised by the participants.
