Committee seeks truth in Priyaluxmi death case

Inter-Village Development Committee said it will urge both the Delhi and Manipur governments to uncover the truth behind the suspicious death of Khangembam Priyaluxmi, who was found dead in Delhi on April 19 .
Speaking to the media at Ngaikhong Siphai on Tuesday, Committee president Th Joykumar appealed to the public not to spread rumours on national or social media on the Priyaluxmi issue, warning that legal action would be taken against those responsible.
The committee has pledged to fully support the activities of the Joint Action Committee (JAC) formed in connection with Priyaluxmi's death.
Members of the Ngakchoupokpi, Ngaikhong, Ngaikhong Siphai, Toubul, Khoijuman, and Nachou committees were also present at the press conference.
