CADA conducts anti-drug programme

Imphal, April 25 2025:
Coalition against Drugs & Alcohol (CADA) organised one day academic awareness programme on 'impact of drug abuse on students' at Pangantabi High School, Kakching district on Friday.
A release issued by CADA secretary information & publicity L Brojen Angom cha informed that the awareness programme was attended by CADA president Hijam Priyokumar, CADA Kakching district committee president S Nena, Pangantabi High School head master Ningthoujam Subhas and assistant head master Thingnam Ibudhem as presidium members while CADA secretary general Takhellambam Geetchandra Meitei was the resource person.

Geetechandra made a slide show presentation to help the students better understand the harmful effects of drug abuse.
He urged the students never to use drugs, emphasising that they are not only detrimental to the individual but also have far-reaching adverse effect on their family, community and society, the release added.
