Kakching, March 24 2025: A School Cultural and Demonstration programme on Nata Sankirtana (Pung Cholom) was organised by Sangeet Academy, Kakching under the sponsorship of Cultural Function and Production Grant Scheme (CFPGS) of the Ministry of Culture, on Monday.

During the event, students of the academy were taught about Pung Cholom and were also given a demonstration on the art form.

A similar programme will also be conducted at Kakching Makha High School on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Thoubal District Art and Culture Development Association (TDACDA), Wabagai Yangbi organised a lecture-cum-demonstration on "Arangpham" at Wabagai Higher Secondary School.

Additionally, the Em Bee Kala Sangeet Sangam Vidyalaya, Wabagai Tera Urak, organised a lecture-cum-demonstration on "Wari Leeba" at the institute.
