Screenplay writing workshop from May 5

Imphal, April 30 2024: Manipur State Film and Television Institute (MSFTI), under the Department of Art and Culture, will conduct a 15-day Intensive Screenplay Writing Workshop in two phases to impart the basic as well as profound knowledge and concept on various aspects of filmmaking to the youths of the state.

The first phase of the workshop from May 5 to 11 and the second from May 20 to 27 at MSFTI, Palace Gate, will be held under the course directorship of Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata Department of Direction and Screenplay Writing former HoD professor Shyamal Sengupta.

Meanwhile, a notice by MSFTI director Alexander Leo Pou, informed that the application form for the workshop will be issued from April 29 and the last date for submission will be May 4 .

Interested persons may contact MSFTI during office hours with immediate effect for more details, it added.
