Senapati, October 17 2023: Naga Women's Union (NWU) has congratulated Golmei Gaiphulshillu Kabui on her appointment as a Judge of the High Court of Manipur.

In a congratulatory note, the Naga Women's Union (NWU) stated that it is very pleased to express then-honor and appreciation to Golmei Gaiphulshillu Kabui on her appointment as a Judge of the Manipur High Court.

"It is truly a proud moment for all and particularly Naga women in the State to witness one of us being called the first tribal woman Judge of Manipur High Court," it said.

It may be noted that Golmei G Kabui joined the Manipur Judicial Service in 1995, and she was also the Manipur High Court's first woman Registrar and then Registrar General.

She has earned glory for herself, brought fame and reputation to her people and dignity to all the women in the State, it said.

Naga Women's Union (NWU) prayed that more fame could be achieved in her future and in delivering the truth and justice in the cause of humanity.

The Union congratulated her graciously and wished her all the best in her future career.
