Swachhta pledge ceremony held at RIMS

In a bid to promote cleanliness and hygiene within its premises, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, launched the Swachhta Pakhwada 2024 Campaign on Monday.
The initiative was launched by RIMS director Prof G Sunil Kumar as part of the nationwide Swachhta Pakhwada campaign.
During the pledging ceremony held in front of the OPD Block at RIMS Hospital, Prof Sunil administered the "Swachhta Pakhwada" pledge to all members present, which included RIMS MS Prof N Sanjib, deputy director (admin) RK Mecolt, and nodal officer for SAP 2024-25/Kayakalp, RIMS Prof Y Govindaraj, along with faculty members, nursing officials, staff, employees of CRED, and Manipur Security Services.
Encouraging active participation in the cleanliness campaign, the director emphasised the importance of collective effort in transforming RIMS to a better and healthier institute.
The Swachhta Pakhwada will be observed from April 1 to 15, during which various activities aimed at enhancing cleanliness and promoting hygiene will be conducted throughout the institution.
