Cheiraoba, Eid greetings extended

Several organisations extended greetings to the people of Manipur on the arrival of festivals of Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba and Eid-Ul-Fitr.
In separate releases, All Manipur Ethnical Socio-Cultural Organisation (AMESCO) and Ethno Heritage Council (HERICOUN) extended Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba greetings and wished for peace, prosperity, unity, integrity and development in Manipur.
AMESCO also announced that it will organise 'Sajibu Khudol Tamba Ee Gi Khongul Leeba gi Thouram', a programme aimed at reuniting and strengthening the bonds between hills and valley in areas covered by Kangpokpi, Senapati, Imphal East, and Imphal West districts.
Meanwhile, Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillol Apunba Lup (MEELAL), Kangleipak Minority Welfare Organisation (KMWO) and All Manipur Muslim Development Organisation conveyed greetings in connection with Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba and Eid-Ul-Fitr to the people of Manipur.
They wished for restoration of peace and normalcy and prayed for prosperity, unity and development in the state.
KMWO further appealed to shopkeepers not to hike price of essential items taking undue advantage of the Cheiraoba and Eid-Ul-Fitr festivals.
