RRU officials call on Governor at Raj Bhavan

Imphal, April 22 2025: Representatives of Rashtriya Raksha University; led by director in-charge Avinash Kharel called on Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, at Raj Bhavan, here, on Tuesday.

According to a statement issued by Raj Bhavan PRO, the director briefed the Governor on the University's efforts to expand academic outreach and boost enrolment among young aspirants from Manipur, during the meeting.

The University offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in three main areas of study including Police Science and Management, Disaster Management and National Security, and Security and Strategic Studies.

The delegation highlighted that the university also provides specialised courses in Cyber Security, Forensic Science, and Language Studies, and the university's mission as well as its growing role in nation-building through education in security and policing.

The Governor appreciated their efforts and urged for continued focus on inclusive engagement of students from Manipur.
