Solo cycling mission ends in Jiribam

Imphal, April 30 2024: The solo cycling mission by Joykumar Sharma, former headmaster of Wakha Primary School, which started on April 17 aiming to raise awareness about vector borne disease and promote health education in the state, concluded at Jiribam Higher Secondary School, on Tuesday.

The mission concluded in Jiribam district after covering six valley districts.

Joykumar was given a warm welcome by the public at Jiribam Higher Secondary School where a health awareness programme was also conducted with participation of students of the school.

The function was attend ed by School principal Jaida Begum and vice principal Kh Indikumar Singh as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.

It may be mentioned that the solo cycling mission was flagged off by Imphal East ZEO M Premchandra Singh from the ZEO Zone-II office on April 17 .

The mission is a joint initiative of State Health Society, National Health Mission, Youth Affairs and Sports, ZEO Zone-II and Wakha Primary School.
