JCI's health camp held

Imphal, March 23 2025:
JCI Imphal Iconic organized a free health camp at Kalibari, Thangal Keithel, in collaboration with the State Non Communicable Disease Division and District NCD Cell, Imphal West today.
The camp provided health screenings for hypertension and diabetes mellitus to residents of Thangal Keithel and its adjacent places.
Thangmeiband MLA Kh Joykisan inspected the conduct of the health camp.
Speaking to the media, JCI Imphal Iconic president JC Depika Jain stated that the health camp is part of their ongoing humanitarian efforts, aiming to provide essential services to those in need.
Saying that the health camp focused on screening for hypertension and diabetes which are often overlooked but can be life-threatening if left unmanaged, she expressed gratitude to Kh Joykisan and the medical team, including doctors and nurses from the Health Department, for their support in making the health camp a success.
Vice president of JCI Zone 25 Komal Jain said that they had also supported people during the Covid-19 pandemic by distributing relief materials, health kits, and organizing health camps.
According to her, 100 people will be screened during the camp.
The health camp is part of a special screening drive for NCDs, which started on March 21 and will run until March 31 .
