Workshop kicks off at ITTA

Imphal, March 27 2025:
A 3-day workshop on "Question Design & Blueprint'' kicked off today at the Ideal Teachers' Training Academy (ITTA), Sajiwa Jail Road, Imphal East district.
The workshop was organised by ITTA in collaboration with the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Manipur University, said a release issued by ITTA.
The inaugural function was graced by Tokpam Shantikumar Singh, Controller of Examinations, Manipur University; Dr Yengkokpam Ranjan Singh, Principal, ITTA; Dr Laisom Sharmeswar Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Teacher's Education, Manipur University; Dr Rajivkumar Narengbam, Principal, IRE; and Khagokpam Ronel Singh, Chairman, Governing Body, ITTA as presidium members.
Delivering the keynote address, Longjam Ratankumar said that the workshop will be significant in enhancing the objectives of NEP 2020 by shifting from traditional method of assessment to strategic modem method of assessing the student's performances.
Tokpam Shantikumar emphasized the need to impart the enhanced knowledge of question making and blueprints supported by knowledge of Bloom's Taxonomy, Rubrics and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Dr Yengkokpam Ranjan stressed on the need to sharpen the knowledge of assessment in teachers for effective evaluation.
