Governor fetes NCC cadets of R-Day Parade

Imphal, April 22 2025: Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla felicitated three National Cadet Corps (NCC) representatives from Manipur who participated in the Republic Day Parade 2025 held in New Delhi.

According to a press statement issued by the 14 Manipur Battalion NCC, second officer Tensubam Bobby Singh, senior under officer Yengkhom Umesh Singh, and senior under officer Oinam Reena Devi of NCC Imphal Group were honoured at a special ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan, here, on Tuesday.

The Governor praised the cadets and their associate NCC officer for their exemplary discipline, patriotism, and commitment, stating that their selection for the prestigious national event is a moment to treasure for the state.

He lauded their efforts and expressed confidence in their future as responsible and capable leaders.

The Governor also acknowledged the crucial role played by young citizens in the state's progress and reaffirmed his support for youth empowerment.

NCC Imphal Group Commander Brigadier Kulkarni Vikrant Narsinha led the visiting officers.

In recognition of their spirited participation, the Governor presented personal laptops to the officer and cadets.
