Wife basher held after zero FIR in CCpur

Imphal, April 28 2025: One Naocha Khaidem (28) of Tangjeng Ahallup village under Kumbi police station in Bishnupur district, but currently residing at New Checkon, Imphal East district, has been arrested on Sunday in connection with a domestic violence case.

According to a press statement from Manipur Police Control Room, Churachandpur Women PS registered a zero FIR against Naocha Khaidem, s/o Kh Jugindro based on complaints about Naocha and his family members subjecting his (Naocha's) wife Nengneihoi (25) to domestic violence.

Based on the zero FIR filed, Imphal East district women police registered a case and arrested Naocha as part of the on-going investigation.

Nengneihoi is currently undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Churachandpur for her injuries.
