Eight EK students among top 10 position holders

Imphal, April 25 2025: Enlighten Knowledge (EK) Higher Secondary School, Sangakpham continued its dominance in the Arts stream, securing eight of the top 10-positions in the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) 2025, as results were declared Friday by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur.

According to secretary P Saratchandra, students of the school secured all the top positions except the fourth and eighth.

Keisham Hannah Devi topped the examination, followed by Harsh Maisnam in second and Sagolsem Inunganbi Chanu in third.

A student from the Science stream also brought laurels to the school by securing the 15th position.

EK Higher Secondary School students also excelled in individual subjects, taking top positions in Geography, Alternative English,' Economics, Home Science, Political Science, Sociology, and Chemistry.

Saratchandra credited the achievement to the hard work of the students and dedicated service rendered by the teachers.

He said the school does not follow the practice of enticing High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLCE) toppers for Class XI admissions but instead strives to nurture the potential of every student, whether they are academically strong or weak.

Beyond academics, the school emphasises on discipline, respect for teachers and elders, and instilling a patriotic spirit among students.

Having consistently topped the Arts stream for years, the school is now equally focusing on improving performance in the Science stream, he added.
