IEC campaign on tribal welfare schemes continues

Senapati district administration continued its Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign on Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) and Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN) Saturation Drive on Tuesday at Lakhamai village community hall under Chilivai Phaibung TD block, Senapati district.
The DAJGUA campaign was conducted under the supervision of Chilivai Phaibung block development officer James Panii.
District level officers (DLOs) of various departments also participated in the campaign highlighting and sensitising on various schemes, financial facilities, and its components, during the IEC under their respective department.
Around 350 people of 15 villages under the block and surrounding villages attended the programme.
The campaign included opening of 18 stalls of various departments and the BDO distributing one widow pension card, six disability cards (CMST), six Manipur old age pension cards and six vegetable hybrid seeds.
The department officials also distributed tree saplings, one HYV seed and 10 micronutrients, and forms for availing services and schemes for effective campaign.
TENGNOUPAL: The district administration on Tuesday extended its outreach efforts to Langol and Khunbi villages in Machi Sub-Division, Tengnoupal district, as part of the ongoing Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJGUA) campaign.
The Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camp was attended by the Tengnoupal SDC, village chairmen, and officials from various line departments.
Around 450 locals from the two villages participated in the campaign.
As part of the programme, line departments provided a wide range of services under one roof, including the distribution of PMJAY cards, Fisheries cards, certificates, and saplings from the Forest Department.
Additionally, registration and enrolment services for various government schemes were facilitated at the camp.
Since its launch on June 16, the DAJGUA Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camps have been organised in seven identified villages across Tengnoupal district.
The remaining four villages will be covered by the end of June.
CHURACHANDPUR: The Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) awareness and saturation campaign was successfully conducted on Tuesday in Henglep village, Henglep Sub-Division.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from villagers, village authorities, government of ficials, and community leaders.
Around 15 villages were covered during the programme, marking a significant outreach to one of the district's most remote and inaccessible regions.
The campaign was formally inaugurated by the Henglep SDO, who emphasised the values of transparency, inclusivity, and participatory governance in public service delivery.
Officials from key departments - such as Health, ICDS, Education, Tribal Development, DSO, and Revenue - were present and actively engaged with the public, ensuring direct and effective service delivery.
Special focus was given to Aadhaar enrolment and seeding, ration card applications, and the issuance of essential certificates, enabling access to a range of entitlements.
The campaign will continue till Wednesday, covering more villages in the sub-division to ensure no eligible citizen is left behind.
JIRIBAM: A review meeting of the Dharti Abba Abhiyan Campaign, under the chairmanship of Jiribam deputy commissioner, Krishna Kumar, was held on Tuesday in the office chamber of the DC, Jiribam.
During the meeting, the DC highlighted that the week-long campaign in Jiribam district has been conducted in the tribal villages of Chotobekra and Bhutangkhal from June 16, as part of the nationwide focused campaign, Dharti Aaba Abhiyan - an awareness and benefit saturation camp running from June 15 to 30 under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, to ensure awareness about various government schemes, programmes, and services.
Krishna Kumar also emphasised that DAJGUA is a time-bound mission aimed at saturating sendees, ensuring infrastructural development in tribal areas, and empowering tribal communities for holistic and sustainable development.
During the meeting, the DC instructed departments concerned to expedite service delivery and submit their upcoming action plans for the next campaign, scheduled for June 25 at Chotobekra village and June 28 at Jairolpokpi village.
The campaign in the district was previously conducted on June 16 at Chotobekra village, followed by Bhutangkhal village on June 17 .
The schemes covered include Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, house electrification and off-grid solar, the New Solar Power Scheme, Forest Rights Act (2006), Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, National Health Mission, National Sickle Cell Mission, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Anganwadi centres, Skill India Mission, and PM Matsya Sampada Yojana, among others.
