FDP on NEP-2020 begins at CI College

Imphal, January 09 2024:
A week-long Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on the theme 'Soft skill for teachers in higher education', organised jointly by CI College, Bishnupur; Mangolngabi College, Ningthoukhong; and Kumbi College began from Tuesday at CI College.
The programme is part of the NEP-2020 and is being sponsored by the Department of University and Higher Education, Manipur.
The opening function of the programme was attended by professor H Sudhirkumar Singh, head of department of history of Manipur University as chief guest and CI college principal Dr M Mangi Singh as president while Mangolnganbi College principal RK Birjit Singh and Kumbi College principal Ch Madhumangol Singh were guests of honour.
Speaking at the event, professor H Sudhirkumar Singh pointed out that the Faculty Development Programme under NEP-2020 is important as well as essential for teachers and thanked director (education) Rangitabali Waikhom for aiding the three colleges in organising the programme, which is being participated by 80 teachers from different colleges.
As resource person of the first technical session, professor Sudhirkumar also interacted with the participants.
