AR conducts free medical camp at Kamjong

Continuing its commitment towards the well-being of the local populace, Assam Rifles conducted a Medical Camp at Nambashi Khullen in Kamjong district today.
According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), the medical camp provided essential healthcare services to the residents of the remote village with 131 people from the local community benefiting including 49 women and 47 children.
The medical team comprising health experts and paramedical staff from Assam Rifles, conducted health check-ups, provided basic medical care and distributed complimentary medicines to those in need.
Health awareness sessions were also conducted to educate the villagers on seasonal diseases and their precautions, hygiene, preventive healthcare and common ailments.
The initiative was highly appreciated by the villagers, who lauded the dedication of the Assam Rifles personnel towards community welfare and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Assam Rifles for their continued efforts in improving healthcare access and addressing medical needs in remote areas.
