Imphal, April 02 2025: In connection with World Oral Health Month, the Department of Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry, JNIMS in collaboration with JNIMS Dental College, organised an oral health camp today at Ideal Youth's Association Hall, Kakching.

The oral health camp is held under the supervision of 6 Associate Professors of JNIMS Dental College.

Speaking in this connection, Dr Thiyam Bellona, Associate Professor, Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology said that during the oral health camp, a total number of 150 patients were conducted oral screening and given simple treatment.

In addition the patients were also given free medicines by the hospital.

She said that similar initiatives will also be conducted at various locations as part of the 'World Oral Health Month'.

As part of the observation, several awareness campaigns on 'Oral Hygiene' and "Healthy Food, Healthy Drinks" competition for children were also conducted, stated Bellona.
