AR hosts a day with Coy Commander at Lilong

Imphal, April 21 2025: In a continued effort to strengthen bonds with local communities and provide essential services, the Assam Rifles organised a community outreach program titled "A Day with Company Commander" at the Assam Rifles location in Lilong on April 17 .

According to a release issued by IGAR (S), the event witnessed participation of 46 individuals from the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) relief camp at Urup Arapti, Thoubal district.

The day's activities comprised of a series of engaging events designed to kindle camaraderie and uplift community spirit.

Attendees participated in various fun-filled games, promoting teamwork and providing a joyful respite from daily challenges.

A significant highlight of the event was the organisation of a medical camp offering free health checkups and consultations.

This initiative aimed to address immediate healthcare needs and reinforce the Assam Rifles' commitment to the well-being of the local populace, stated the IGAR (S) .
