Imphal, April 02 2025: A production of "Ta Khousarol-Maram Nungsetpa" was showcased today at the office of Eastern Arts & Culture Foundation Manipur at Arapti Mamang Leikai, Imphal East.

At the event, Padmashree Awardee K Sanathoiba Sharma educated the gathering on "Ta Khousarol" and "Ta-Khousaba".

Lauding the martial art of Thang-Ta as intrinsic to Meitei society, he called for concerted efforts to educate the younger generations in this art form to ensure that it is not lost in the annals of time.

Notable dignitaries present at the showcase include M Manihar, president of Eastern Arts & Culture Foundation Manipur and W Birchandra, chairperson, Kyamgei Muslim Arapti Gram Panchayat.
