Kakching, April 21 2025: An awareness cum sensitization programme for school teachers of Kakching district on "Juvenile Justice System" and "Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006" was held today at Wabagai Higher Secondary School.

The programme organised by the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) Kakching with support of the District Administration was attended by Wabagai Higher Secondary School principal, Mayengbam Bhorot as functional president.

During the programme, Child Welfare Committee Tengnoupal, member secretary Damgam Khaling spoke on the topic of 'Juvenile Justice System Overview' and DCPU Kakching, Legal cum Probation Officer, M Robindro on 'Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2026' as resource persons.
