Speaking at the event, Praveen recalled that the examinations were conducted from February 17 to March 26 amid several challenges, but the results were declared earlier than in past years to facilitate timely college admissions.

He credited the council officials and examiners for the timely declaration, and assured that government school infrastructure will be improved further.

Chairman Ojit expressed gratitude to the officials, police, and student bodies for their support, while noting that this year's practical examinations were held before the theory papers, which helped in early result processing.

He said nodal officers were deployed in hill districts where council teams could not reach, while all valley examination centres were visited.

Examiners were trained in advance for better assessment.

Meanwhile, the Council informed that the original statement of marks for the HSE, 2025 will be issued through the office of the respective principals after one week (counting only working days) from the result declaration.

Only passed candidates may apply for the provisional statement of marks using the prescribed form available from April 28 to May 2 between 10 am and 1 pm on working days, by paying Rs 120 for the form and Rs 720 as fee.

The provisional statement will be issued after 2 pm on the next working day following submission.

According to CoHSEM, provisional certificates, intended for students seeking admission outside the state, will be issued only to those who have obtained the provisional statement of marks.

The application form for the certificate costs Rs 120 with a normal fee of Rs 720 or Rs 960 for emergency cases.

Improvement candidates may appear in the examination to be held in May 2025.Those with two failed subjects may choose one subject now and appear for the remaining in the next main exam.

Candidates may apply for rechecking from May 6 to 15 by submitting the prescribed form and paying Rs 2400 per subject, it added.
