13 students leave for ISRO Bengaluru

Imphal, April 21 2025:
A team of 13 students and one Coordinator left for ISRO Bengaluru on Monday afternoon from the Imphal International Airport.
Bisheshwar Khumukcham, Nodal Officer and Additional Director of Education (S/V), officially flagged off the team in the presence of parents, teachers and other officials of the department.
The tour is organised under the programme "North East Student Programme for Awareness, Reach and Knowledge on Space (NESPARKS)", which is implemented by North East Space Applications Centre (NESAC) under the initiative of the Ministry of DoNER.
Government of India, in collaboration with Government of Manipur.
The tour aims to ignite curiosity and foster awareness about space science and technology.
A targeted number of 100 talented Science students from each of the eight North Eastern States will get an opportunity to visit ISRO in different batches starting from the month of April till December, 2025 .
