AR conducts medicalcamp at Gamphazol village

Imphal, April 16 2025:
In its ongoing efforts to provide humanitarian assistance and promote healthcare in remote areas, Assam Rifles organised a medical camp at Gamphazol village in Chandel District's Khengjoi Sub Division, Manipur.
According to a release issued by the IGAR (South) the medical camp, which was conducted by health experts from Assam Rifles, saw an overwhelming response from the local community.
A total of 82 civilians, including 31 women and 16 children, participated in the camp and availed complimentary medical consultation and treatment The medical team provided diagnostic and treatment services for various ailments, including respiratory/ skin infections, fever, and general health check-ups.
Medicines were also distributed to the needy patients.
The medical camp was well-received by the local population, who expressed their gratitude to Assam Rifles for organizing the event.
The camp not only provided much-needed medical assistance to the villagers but also helped to strengthen the bond between the security forces and the local community.
