Imphal, March 28 2025: Assam Rifles organised a career guidance lecture at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Chandel District today.

The session focussed on "How to Join Armed Forces as an Officer and Entry in Army Medical Corps" .

According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), this initiative provided valuable insights to around 250 students including teachers, aspiring to serve in the armed forces and providing guidance to pursue a career in the Army Medical Corps.

The officers shared their experience and expertise, guiding students on the selection process, training requirements, and career growth opportunities within the armed forces.

This career guidance session was appreciated by all students and teachers of the school for being highly informative and beneficial for those considering a career in the Indian Armed Forces.

The event underscores the commitment of Assam Rifles to motivate and empower young minds, fostering a sense of patriotism and dedication among future leaders, said the IGAR (S) .
