CPI Kumbi holds 49th Local Conference

Imphal, March 25 2025: The 49th Local Conference of CPI Kumbi Local Council was held today at Kumbi Ibudhou Sandong Laibung.

The conference was attended by H Tomba, S Leirenton, L Sotinkumar, M Joykumar, K Bimol and Ch Sarat as presidium members.

The conference resolved to demand i) protection of territorial integrity of Manipur ii) ending the ongoing crisis in the State iii) make necessary arrangements to resettle the IDPs at their original homes and to provide special economic package for IDPs iv) strengthen the constitution and democracy of the country v) grant special category status for Manipur vi) hold Panchayat and urban local body election vii) repeal AFSPA from Manipur viii) withdraw the President's Rule and to conduct Assembly election ix) safeguard the Assembly seats of valley region when exercising delimitation and x) enlist Meitei in the ST list.
