UCM hosts training programme

Imphal, April 16 2025: A training programme on "Scientific Rearing of Pigs" was held today at the Multipurpose Hall of Advance Women Society at Awang Sekmai Koujengleima.

According to a press release, the training programme was organised by the United Committee Manipur (UCM) Awang Sekmai Unit in collaboration with District Veterinary Office, Imphal West.

The event was graced by Dr Sabitri Maibam, Deputy Director, District Veterinary Office, Imphal West as the chief guest; YK Dhiren, president, UCM as the functional president and Ayangbam Suresh, chairman, UCM Sekmai Unit as the guest of honour.

Meanwhile, Veterinary Officers Dr Chirom Amita and Dr Dilraj Mayanglambam were present as technical experts.

Approximately 40 farmers participated in the training programme.
