Free health camps held at border villages of Ukhrul

Ukhrul, March 19 2024:
A weeklong free health camp was held for 13 border villages in Ukhrul district organised by the Participatory Action for Sustainable Development Organization (PASDO), Ukhrul in collaboration with the Medical Department, Ukhrul.
The health camp was conducted by a team of medical staff led by Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Ukhrul Dr AS Kapangring along with doctors, nurses and paramedical staff.
The health camp was held in 13 border villages namely Sihai Khullen, Sihai Khunou, Sihai Kahaophung, Khamasom Khayangkho, Khamasom Phungdhar, Khamasom Walely, Khamasom Phungrei, Kuingai, Challou, Poi, Tusom Khullen, Tusom CV and New Tusom.
Free medical consultations were provided to more than 1800 villagers and free medicines were distributed during the health camps.
The organisers extended gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner Ukhrul Kengoo Zuringla for her support and financial assistance for the smooth conduct of the weeklong health camp.
