One day training / workshop programme for MATES of Thoubal held

Thoubal, April 16 2025: A one day training programme for 'MATE', frontline supervisor who oversees the works being done at MGNREGS worksites, was conducted today at the counting hall of Deputy Commissioner office complex, Thoubal today.

The training cum workshop program was organized by District Programme Co-ordinator, Thoubal.

The programme was graced by Ph Bhavananda Sharma, MCS, Chief Executive Officer as the chief guest along with Seema Sanjenbam MCS, Block Development Officer Wangjing Tentha CD Block and H Kiromani Singh, MCS, Block Development Officer Lilong CD Block.

The objectives of the programme is to upgrade the knowledge, skill of all the MATES of Thoubal District.

More than 300 MATES participated in the training programme.

In his speech, Ph Bhavananda Shanna MCS, CEO, stated that Thoubal district is one of the best performing districts with regards to MGNREGS work which has resulted in boosting economic growth and overall development of the district.

He said MATES present in the training are young and dynamic which will strengthen the development further.

The programme concluded with a fruitful interactive session with the official of MIS, Thoubal.
