Irregularity of teachers irks Jiri students

Out of 40 teachers in Jiribam Higher Secondary School, half of them hardly attend classes most of the days, Kh.
Tiken Meitei, President AMSU Unit, Jiribam Higher Secondary School has pointed out.
Addressing a press meet at the office of AMSU District Committee, Jiribam today afternoon, Tiken further pointed out that even after 8 months of the academic session; syllabi for various subjects have not been adequately covered by the teachers.
The student leader expressed apprehension that at the end of the academic session, it will be hard for the teachers to complete the syllabus of subjects and consequences have to be borne by students of Jiribam Higher Secondary School during Examination.
The AMSU Unit, Jiribam Higher Secondary Schools charged the teachers with irregularity in their attendance and appealed them to attend classes in time to complete their respective subjects.
It also warned that if the teachers do not complete their respective syllabi during the academic session, then they will be responsible for the outcome at the time of examination.

AMSU Unit, Jiribam Higher Secondary School expressed that the regularity of teachers' attendance in school timing is very low.
Those teachers who don't understand their own timing for duty have no right to enter the school campus, he cautioned.
Even if the the school charges fee for magazine, games and sports, library, etc, they are not utilized properly by the school authorities, the student leader alleged, while informing that AMSU would not remain mute spectator to such things.
