Imphal, March 28 2025: The Department of Community Medicine, Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS), Langol conducted a Health Talk Programme on the topic, "Rabies and Cervical Cancer" at Community Hall, Awang Potsangbam Khullen, Imphal Westtoday.

Notably, Awang Potsangbam Khullen is an adopted area of SAHS, Langol, under Family Adoption Programme, NMC.

As per a release issued by SAHS, the programme was organised as a part of Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship Posting, in collaboration with ASHA Workers of Awang Potshangbam Khullen.

The programme was attended by nearly 50 people from the locality and around 25 students of Awang Potsangbam High School.

The interns were guided by the faculties of the Department of Community Medicine, SAHS and they gave an elaborate presentation on the topic using charts.

It was followed by discussion and clarification of doubts of the participants by the faculties.

Both the ASHA and students along with the participants expressed their gratitude and appreciated the Department of Community Medicine, SAHS for organising such an event.
