AR holds "A Day with company commander"

Imphal, April 26 2025: Assam Rifles organised "A Day with Company Commander" at Keithalmanbi Garrison in Imphal West district on Saturday.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of 330 students and 18 teachers from Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS) Keithalmanbi, Pole Star Public School Patsoi, The Progress Academy Konthujam and Divine Light School, Khumbong.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the day witnessed a motivational lecture and interaction with the Company Commander, kindling a sense of discipline and inspiration among the youth.

A friendly volleyball match was conducted between ARPS and The Progress Academy, with the ARPS clinching victory by 2-1.Similarly, a high-energy basketball match also resulted in ARPS emerging as the winners.

Various engaging activities including weapon display and fun filled activities for children from Classes 3 to 7, painting competition and athletic events were organised as part of the occasion.

The day concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where winners were felicitated for their achievements, followed by group photographs, the PRO informed.
