Silchar, July 03, 2010:
The Association for DPC Successful Candidates for Primary Teachers/HMT/HGT 2006, Manipur today, while seeking issuance of appointment orders to the DPC cleared candidates, served ultimatum on July 7 in implement their demand.
If the demand is not fulfilled by July 7 next, the association will launch various forms of agitations, said the president of the newly floated body, Md Sirajjur Rehman today briefing to reporters after submitting a memorandum to the Chief Minister.
The memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister demanded solving the "burning problem" arising in the declaration of the result of the DPC of Primary Teachers 2006 in the state education (s) department when the Hueiyen Lanpao published with alleged concealment of the result which was about to declare on April 22 last.
The DPC result was approved by the order no.1/3/2-4/09-DE (S) issued by the director of education (s) dated 22nd April, 2010 under government convey order no.4/17/2005-SE(S) dated 22nd April, 2010. In the memorandum also the association drew the attention of the Chief Minister, O Ibobi to issue appointment orders on or before July 7 next.
The association, in the memorandum, charged that the DPC result was not pasted on the notice board, in the last minutes on April 22, on the advice of the education minister.
The reason behind the advice was nothing but due non-inclusion of some candidates who happened to be close associate of the education minister.
The DPC result published by Hueiyen Lanpao is an order issued by DPC members after getting all necessary approvals and convey orders from the higher authorities concerned, the memorandum claimed while condemning comment of the education minister L Jayentakumar that the declaration of the result was null & void and an inquiry will be made and completed within 15 days.
The minister wanted to manipulate the order copies after giving his approval to the DPC has been shown by his double standard comment which is totally against the wishes of the innocent and educated candidates, the association observed in the memorandum.
The "controversial" statement of the education minister not only violated the rights of the thousand and hundred of the educated unemployed youth of the state but also discourages the growth of quality and primary education of the society, the association charged in the memorandum.
