Imphal, April 28 2025: Assam Rifles organised A Day with Company Commander atNew Samtal village, Chandel District.

According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), the events featured a range of activities aimed at promoting sportsmanship, education and camaraderie among the local population.

As part of the events, Assam Rifles conducted volleyball and football matches, creating a vibrant platform for displaying sports prowess of the youths.

A motivational video on "Join Indian Army" was screened to showcase life of a soldier, spirit of discipline and encourage the youth to serve the nation.

An interaction with the company commander was also organised wherein 155 students of New Samtal High School were provided counselling and motivation for a better future.
