Thoubal, March 28 2025: Voluntary Blood Donor's Committee, Yairipok in collaboration with National Health Mission, Manipur and Shija Blood Centre & Transfusion Services, Health City, Langol, Imphal West organised a blood donation camp at Shija Hospital today.

The blood donation camp was held on the theme "Eema Leibakkidamakta Kathoklaba Ee".

Altogether 15 blood donors comprising 5 female and 10 male donors donated their blood during the camp.

Speaking in this connection, Voluntary Blood Donor's Committee, Yairipok founder cum president, Sanjoy Hidam said that the blood donation camp was conducted with the aimed to address the shortage of blood in the hospital.

"Due to the arrival of summer in the State, the number of patients has significantly increased.

To address the issue of shortage of blood, such a blood donation camp was organised, said Sanjoy.
