Aid extended to late VDF member's family

Imphal, March 27 2025: The family of VDF member (late) Thoudam Modhuchandra Singh (VDF No.1189), who served in the reserved line Bishnupur, received monetary assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh from the Bishnupur District VDF Welfare Association.

The assistance was provided following the demise of Modhuchandra on March 8.A statement issued by the association's publicity secretary Okram Arunkumar Meitei, expressed condolences and shared the grief of the bereaved family.

The financial aid was disbursed under the leadership of Bishnupur SP Ksh Rabikumar Singh, with the support of VDF Welfare Committee chairman Yumnam Premjit Singh with the collected amount handed over to Modhuchandra's wife Th Subita Devi.

Bishnupur VDF Welfare Association president Oinam Bijoy Singh, vice president Moirangthem Amuthoi Singh, general secretary Naorem Singh and cashier Ningthoujam Sanjit Singh also accompanied the team.
