Speaking on the occasion, RK Meghen expressed concern over the prevailing situation in Manipur, stating that the state is currently facing a period of unrest marked by growing mistrust and tensions among communities.
He cautioned that the spread of hatred and divisive narratives should not be taken lightly, alleging that such developments could be part of a larger design to disrupt the unity and integrity of the State.
He further stressed that statements made by individuals from any community should not be misconstrued as representing the views of the entire community.
Emphasising the importance of collective responsibility, he urged people to rise above differences and work together to rebuild trust and restore peace.
Highlighting the role of the younger generation, Meghen appealed for proper education of youth on inter-community relations and shared history, describing them as the backbone of society and key to a harmonious future.
