4-day training programme on natural farming begins

Imphal, April 22 2025: The inaugural session of the four-day training programme on "Natural Farming" under the National Mission on Natural Farming commenced today at College of Agriculture, Iroisemba, CAU, Imphal.

Professor Indira Sarangthem, Director of Instruction and Dean graced the session as the chief guest, Dr LM Garnayak, Director of Research and Professor N Brajendra, Department of GPB were present as guests of honour and Professor LK Mishra, chairperson, Organising Committee presided over the session.

The training programme was organised for the Scientists and Farmer Master Trainers from Nagaland and Tripura.

A total of 15 trainees are participating in the event.

It is worth noting that the four-day training programme includes thirteen expert led sessions and a practical field exposure visit.
