The proscribed PREPAK(Pro) and the banned KYKL have condoled the demise of L Cpl Maibam Naotonba alias Naatngakpa Meetei (18) s/o late M Hemanta Meetei and Maibam Ongbi Hemabati Devi of Serou Makha Leikai and Lt Angom Sanatomba alias Ingo (37) s/o late A Chandramani Meetei of Phayeng Mayai Leikai.
A joint condolence message issued by the Central Committees of the two outfits said that PREPAK(Pro)'s L Cpl Naotonba alias Naatngakpa and KYKL's MYL Lt Sanatomba alias Ingo laid down their lives in a battle fought between a combined force of Indian Army and its alleged proxy KNF(B) and a combined team of the revolutionary groups of Manipur at Kanglei-Myan-mar (Manipur- Myanmar) border on March 25, 2025 .

L Cpl Naotonba alias Naatngakpa was the fourth child of five siblings born to Maibam Hemanta and Maibam Ongbi Hemabati.
He joined PREPAK(Pro) in December 2023 and soon completed basic military training.
Naotonba alias Naatngakpa was a disciplined, good mannered, persevering, resolute, unyielding and ideal revolutionary fighter, it said.
With a conviction that the territorial integrity of Kangleipak should not be compromised under any circumstances and one must lay down one's life to protect the territorial integrity of the motherland, he joined the revolutionary movement.
He walked on the path of his choice till his last breath, it said.
Lt Sanatomba alias Ingo was the third of four siblings born to late Angom Chandramani and Angom Ongbi Keinahanbi.
He joined KYKL in 2007 and completed basic military training in the 24th batch.
Lt Sanatomba alias Ingo was a disciplined, benevolent, courageous and gritty revolutionary fighter who had outstanding military acumen, it said.
In 18 long years, he executed a number of tasks for the revolutionary movement which is being waged to wrest back the lost sovereignty of Kangleipak, said the two outfits.
Lt Sanatomba alias Ingo was quite skilful in battlefield tactics and he took part in the Paraolon Ambush of June 4, 2015 carried out by a combined team of KCP, KYKL and NSCN(K) in which 18 Indian military personnel were killed and more than 15 were injured, it said.
The untimely demise of L Cpl Naotonba alias Naatngakpa and Lt Sanatomba alias Ingo would be an irreparable loss not only for PREPAK(Pro) and KYKL but also for the entire revolutionary movement of Kangleipak.
The valour, acumen, patriotism and the supreme sacrifice shown by them would be a big inspiration to all revolutionary fighters who are currently fighting against enemy forces.
Offering revolutionary salutes to the two slain revolutionary fighters, PREPAK(Pro) and KYKL have shared solidarity with the bereaved families, relatives and friends.
