MAYOL's march reaches Kakching

Imphal, December 26 2023:
The Manipur Youth League's (MAYOL) Long March reached Kakching today.
The 7th day's march was flagged off from Kakching Khunou today.
The long march had a stopover at Langmeidong Higher Secondary School where the marchers and the local people held a meeting.
Similar public meetings were held at Wabagai Lamkhai and Kakching Khullen too.
The marchers are putting up the night at Kakching Indoor Stadium.
Social worker Yumnam Samuremba, NB College Assistant Prof Dr Lukram Mamata and DESAM president Leishangthem Lamyanba spoke at the public meeting held at Langmeidong Higher Secondary School under the aegis of Langmeidong Apunba Meira Paibi and Langmeidong United Clubs Organisation.
MAYOL convenor Asem Prince also gave an insight of the long march.
The 6th day's march on Monday started from Wangoo and stopped at Kakching Khunou before passing through Sandangkhong, Chairen, Nungoo, Khongyam, Tangjeng Khunou, Chajing, Korsantabi, Tonsen, Pangaltabi, Wangjing Khunou and Umathel.
Public meetings were also held at Pangaltabi and Kakching Khunou yesterday.
MU Assistant Professor Dr Naorem Sanatomba and COCOMI assistant coordinator Longjam Ratankumar were the main speakers of the public meeting held at Pangaltabi.
MAYOL's Long March was flagged off from Kangla on December 20 and it will conclude at Maharaj Gambhir Singh Memorial Park, Langthabal Kunja on January 9 next year.
