Imphal, March 22 2025: The Fresher's cum Cultural Meet 2025 of Tribal Students Union, DM College of Arts was held today at the auditorium of JN Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal.

The event was graced by Nungba AC MLA, Ninganglung Gangmei; Thongju AC MLA, Thongam Biswajit; Chingai AC MLA, Khashim Vashum and DM College of Arts, Principal, Prof Lanchenba Meetei as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Dinganglung Gangmei expressed concern over the mushrooming of organisations in the State and added that more organizations can potentially lead to increased complexity, challenges, misunderstandings and delays.

"Multiple organisations with competing goals/interests will lead to conflicts and disputes" said the MLA while advising the students to work together for common purpose.

Cultural shows and Mr & Miss Fresher Contest were the main highlights of the event.
