Manipur lady retires as Scientist 'G' in DRDO

Imphal, April 30 2024: Yensenbam Ningol Chungkham Ongbi Sangeeta retired as a Scientist 'G' in Defence Research ' & Development Organisation (DRDO) today on superannuation after 36 years of meritorious service.

Sangeeta was bom to (L) Yensenbam Sunderjit Singh and RK Laxmi of Kangabam Leikai, Imphal West and is the wife of retired Colonel Chungkham Joyraj Singh of Wangkhei Thambalkhong, Imphal East.

She is a graduate with honours in Mathematics from Miranda House and a Post Graduate in Operation Research from Delhi University.

She joined the DRDO in 1988 as a Scientist 'B' and held various scientific and managerial assignments during her service.
