Bangalore, April 24 2025: REVA University hosted the "Vishwa Samvada 2025-India Taiwan Dialogue: Exploring Vistas for Cooperative Agendas" on April 23 and 24, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the University's journey toward building global partnerships.

Organised in collaboration with the esteemed Prospect Foundation, Taiwan, the event brought together distinguished delegates from India and Taiwan to deliberate on shared priorities and strengthen bilateralrelations, said a release issued by REVA University.

In his inaugural address, Dr P Shyama Raju, Chancellor of REVA University, said, "Vishwa Samvada 2025 serves as a vital platform to develop deeper connections and collaborative opportunities between India and Taiwan.

This dialogue reinforces our belief that constructive discourse can pave the way for meaningful cooperation and long-term partnerships".

Dr I-Chung Lai, President, Prospect Foundation, thanked REVA University for hosting a Taiwanese delegation, highlighting the strong India-Taiwan collaboration.

He also underscored India's role as a technology hub, inviting deeper India-Taiwan cooperation for global advancement in innovation and strategic affairs.

Delivering the keynote address, Professor MD Nalapat, Professor Emeritus, Center of Excellence for Geopolitics and International Studies, emphasised the India-Taiwan partnership, symbolising synergy in Information Technology, India excelling in software and Taiwan in hardware.

The guest of honour for the event, Manharsinh Yadav, Director General, India-Taipei Association, spoke about REVA University's potential to play a pivotal role in advancing India-Taiwan relations across key sectors such as technology, semiconductor supply chains, drone technology, and AI startups.

Covering critical topics such as Great Power Competition, Regional Security Dynamics, Cyber Threats on Critical Infrastructure, Trade, Economy and Supply Chains, and People-Centric Bilateral Relations, the two-day dialogue served as a confluence of ideas and strategic foresight.

The event underscored the need for mutual understanding in an era marked by geopolitical uncertainties, climate concerns, cyber vulnerabilities, and evolving global power equations.

Through Vishwa Samvada 2025, REVA University reaffirmed its dedication to holistic education, intellectual exchange, and international cooperation, laying the foundation for a more connected and peaceful world.
