Governor Bhalla felicitates NCC cadets, meets RRU representatives

Imphal, April 22 2025: Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla felicitated National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets who participated in this year's Republic Day Parade at New Delhi and met with representatives of Rashtriya Raksha University at Raj Bhavan today.

The Governor presented laptops to T Bobby Singh, Associate NCC Officer; Y Umesh, Senior Under Officer and Oinam Reena Devi, Senior Under Officer, as a token of appreciation for their exemplary dedication, discipline, and service, said a press release issued by the Governor's Secretariat.

The NCC team was accompanied by Officers of NCC Imphal Group led by Brigadier Kulkarni Vikrant Narsinha, Group Commander NCC Group Imphal.

Praising their achievements, the Governor expressed confidence in their potential as future leaders and responsible citizens and commanded their commitment.

The cadets also conveyed their sincere gratitude for the recognition.

Meanwhile, the Rashtriya Raksha University team led by Avinash Kharel, Director I/C briefed the Governor on the University's efforts to expand academic outreach and boost enrolment among young aspirants from Manipur.

Governor Bhalla appreciated their efforts and urged continued focus on inclusive student engagement from Manipur.
